Baobab, archipelagos of dry forests, wild plantations are the main vegetation of the west coast and south.

Day 1

Antananarivo - Andasibe

Assistance at your hotel; we startint our trip at Madagascar to the RN2. It’s possible to visit the Pereyas reserve with a short break photo at Mandraka.

Check-in to Feon'ny Ala hotel for 2 nights.
Day 2

Andasibe

This park regroup the special reserve INDRI INDRI. The reserve is indeed famous for its INDRIS colonies with a powerful shout and impressive size. A 4 hour tour will be offered on ANALAMAZAOTRA circuit; departure to VAKONA reserve in the afternoon.
Day 3

Andasibe - Antsirabe

Same route as day 1; we cross central highlands with their surprising mud houses, their small churches perched on nipples or on the hillside, the imposing rocks, the rice terraces like a big staircase and sadder but not less spectacular, lavaka or collapse due by erosion. We stop in a small corner that served us a good meal for lunch. We continue our trip a little bit on the south by visiting the aluminum pot manufacturing by Ambatolampy peoples. From here is the coldest city in Madagascar especially in austral winter .

Day 4

Antsirabe - Ranomafana

City tour like "thermes" hotel where the king of Morocco Mohamed V spend some years on this place during his exil period. 90 km connects Antsirabe – Ambositra; it’s village is capital of craftsmanship and sculpture. Lunch break and a short visit to the art gallery; join Ranomafana village in the afternoon.

Day 5

Ranomafana - Ambalavao

Ranomafana is a small village lost in the mountain and hidden on a bottom of a large valley and immersed by a bush forest of the east but rich in biodiversity on fauna and flora. Ranomafana means "hot water". Starting visit very early so we can admire and say hello to lemurs. Departure to Fianarantsoa around 11am; lunch break at the center of the market then direction to Ambalavao.

Day 6

Ambalavao via Anja - Camp catta

Ambalavao is nestled at a bottom of a mountainous cirque, the foothills of Andringitra. It’s the south gate where we find the most beautiful buildings Betsileo style. We have time to enjoy our trip arround Madagascar on visiting this beautiful village such as manufacture of Antemoro papers, Anja private reserve managed by the villagers ... We will join directly to the village of Camp Catta in the afternoon.

Day 7

Tsaranoro Valley

Day walk through hills and mountains; various tour are available according to each condition physical but the most beautiful and famous is "chamelons ”. Don't forget to bring water, sunscreen, hat and picnic.

Day 8

Camp catta - Ranohira

Our trip at Madagascar are starting to arrive in a new territory; the highlands are coming end and the south is spreading across the entire width of the island: the gradual end of the rice fields, sudden there appearance of large blocks of stone here and tombs. Sometimes meet group of zebu along the route. We pass on Ihosy village and arid plateau of Ihorombe before arriving at Isalo village.

Day 9

Isalo

It’s a huge eroded sandstone massif dating from the Jurassic period. This relief is ruiniform, the panoramas are splendid especially when the sun is there. Natural swimming pool, cave, rivers, pachypodiums and lemurs are our main reason to visit this park. The driver leaves you on the foot of the mountain and you’ll profit your tour all day.Driver pick-up you on another place at the end of afternoon.

Day 10

Ranohira - Ifaty - Salary

Road trip to Tulear; short break at Ilakaka bridge to see this sociological phenomenon. Thousands of Malagasy have rushed and masse around the river; built in a few months a mushroom village. We continue our trip to the south through a small village melts the production of Malagasy rum or "TOAKA GASY". Lunch break on Tuleat town center then direction to Salary in the afternoon.

The adventure trip starts here; sandy and stony track accompanied by beautiful landscapes will accompagned us. The bottom of the sea, happyness of children along the route give us memoriable souvenir.

Day 11

Salary

Relaxing day, beach under a beautiful ray of sun, Possible to make an excursion with sinners on joining coral reef but you'll arrange it directly with hotel's responsible: multicolored fish, diving ...

Day 12

Salary - Andavadoaka

Off-road about 70km but the most hardest part of the tour; we cross Andravogny, superbly village located at foots of dunes and lagoon. Passing through Ambatomilo with its dunes and crawfish collectors. We continue our adventure trip by visiting baobab forest before reaching Befandefa village.

Day 13

Andavadoaka

Beach, fishing and laze day on program in the morning. Afternoon will be free: it will be possible to visit Andavadoaka village.

Day 14

Andavadoaka - Manja

We leave early morning to reach Morombe city; we should previous a picnic lunch because the route is so long. Crossing Bevoay ferry: passing dry and desert forests until Manja.

Night to Manja hotel which is the only one infrastructure in this area.
Day 15

Manja - Morondava

Off-road 6 hours trip connects Manja village to Morondava; dry forest, river, water channels, sandy and stony route we will cross until Morondava. Arrival at Morondava around noon then lunch break. You have free time for afternoon to take a rest or visiting the town.

Day 16

Morondava - Bekopaka

We will take off-road to Belo / Tsiribihina; we enjoy our trip on visiting sacred baobab, lovers baobab . Arriving at Tsimafana village after 4 hours drive then cross Tsiribihina River by ferry and lunch break on center village . We continue our trip to Tsingy village named Bekopaka where we cross a landscape dominated by SATRANA and a grassy savannah landscape with small villages.

We choice between Tanankoay and Orchidée de Bemaraha for hotel.
Day 17

Tsingy national park

We will go by car until on mountain's foot; this site "Tsingy de Bemaraha" is formed of steep limestone peaks that can reach up to more than 40m of high. We cross deep crevices, caves, canyons and labyrinths passing by a suspension bridge to reach the top of Tsingy or a belvedere has been managed to offer a best view of the massif. Back to Bekopaka village in the afternoon to visit small Tsingy.

Note that this park is classified World Heritage by UNESCO.

Day 18

Bekopaka - Morondava

Same day trip as day sixteen; lunch break at Belo / Tsiribihina then crossing by ferry and road trip direction to Morondava. Next appointment to the baobab alley on sunset.

Coming back to "Trecicogne hotel".
Day 19

Morondava - Antsirabe

Road trip direction to Antsirabe; almost of the route are good paved. Lunch break at Miandrivazo; this village is the second hottest town at Madagascar; starting point also for descent Tsiribihina River.

Antsirabe - Antananarivo

Visit volcanic lakes: Andraikiba, Tritriva then trip direction to Antananarivo. Short city tour like ZOMA market, king palace then transfer to the airport or to your hotel.
