Cap MASOALA is located on the east coast of Madagascar. This park is covered with primary forests, surrounded by the turquoise sea. One of the sites recommended by hikers and the largest national park of Madagascar with its extraordinary biodiversity.
This is one of the original tours far from the tourist routes and still one of the virgin places of the country. With its dense tropical forests, the golden beaches and coral reefs of Antongil Bay.

Day 1

Antananarivo - Maroantsetra

Correspondence to Maroantsetra; welcome by the team of Madagascar Tours Expeditions then transfer by boat to Masoala National Park.

Short walk in the forest around the hotel. Microcebs, chameleons and may be Malagasy civet will accompagned you.

Night at Masoala Forest Lodge.
Day 2

Masoala national park

After breakfast, we embark in a speedboat to join the Masoala National Park which covers 230 000 ha of land surface and 10 000 ha of marine surface, it is already the proof that it represents the largest national park from Madagascar. Fauna and endemic flora dominates.

Return to the hotel at the end of evening and night at Masoala Forest Lodge.
Day 3

Tampolo river

It's the day to check for the birds. We take the path to the Tampolo River, then continue with a small walk through the forest to reach a flight. If you are lucky, you can see Blue Vanga, Drongo, kingfisher or the black vaza. After this expedition, it's time to restore. Night at Masoala Forest Lodge
Day 4

Masoala - Nosy Mangabe - Maroantsetra

We will return to Maroantsetra; we take the boat and make a small stop at the island to the fruit bats and then to Nosy Mangabe. The tour begins with lush flora and very uncommon wildlife. Our wat goes towards the road of the Uroplatus where a gecko which melts perfectly in the vines and plants, small frogs like Varieca Variegata or lemur variety red. The reserve is also sheltered to many endemic palms and carnivorous plants. In the afternoon, we are free at Maroantsetra and can discover the natural habitat of the famous tomato frog.
Day 5

Maroantsetra - Antananarivo

Transfer to the airport then flight back to Antananarivo; visit of the city like king palace, the "ZOMA" market , the train station ...
