North of Madagascar - Madagascar Travel Tour Expedition

A some day excursion from Diego to Nosy be. The 3 bay, the sea of EMERAUDE are the strong points of visit around Diego. Continuation of the journey along the route national N°6 by visiting Amber Mountain, the “Tsingy rouge” and Tsingy of Ankarana. The strong points around Nosy be and their neighboring islands like Nosy komba, Nosy Taninkely and Nosy Sakatia. Note that the trip ends with a beautiful relaxation, beach at the seaside of Nosy be, specifically in the village of Andilana.

Tour and Circuit proposed:

Day 1

Antananarivo - Diego

Correspondence to Diego then warm meeting at the airport by M.T.E teams; road direction to join the fishing village where we can meet with the inhabitants. Visit "Pain de sucre".

Check in at Ramena.

Day 2

Diego (Mer Emearude and 3 bays)

A traditional sailing boat from the village takes you to discover the "Mer Emearaude"; observation of multicolored fish on a lagoon with crystal clear waters on a coral massif. Visit the 3 bays in the afternoon as the dune bay, bays of Sakalava and bay of pigeons.

Day 3

Ramena - Joffre city

Road to Joffre ville; the village of Joffre villae is located about forty kilometers from Diego or the door of amber mounatin visit. The city is a bit cold compared to Diego because it is surrounded by a wet forest covering a volcanic massif.

Day 4

Amber Mountain

Visit of the park; in general, there are 7 species of lemurs, 1000 species of plants 24 kinds of amphibians, 36 species of butterflies and 77 kinds of birds. Its botanical garden has a surface of 1km of longer, its 5 crater lakes, its waterfalls and the delicate game of the sun in its tree ferns.

Day 5

Joffre City - Ankarana via TSINGY ROUGE

We continue our journey on the route national road N°6; after a few kilometers, we will take the left off-road about 17km where we will visit the Tsingy rouge. Throughout the way there is an important eucalyptus plantation and some viewing a distance of the Ocean Indian. A blow of heart to find the 2 points of view on the sets of Tsingy that one discovers from the top of a canyon; it's just before we arrive. Visit through the small river with reddened water by the laterite earth.

Departure to Ankarana in the afternoon.

Day 6

Ankarana

After the Tsingy de Bemaraha reserve, the Ankarana massif is the second one where you can see Tsingy, these karstic formations offering breathtaking views of hundreds of sharpened needles and limestone peaks.

Ankarana – Ankify- Nosy Komba et Taninkely

Road trip to Ambanja then direction to Ankify where we board with a safe speed boat to Nosy Taninkely. Passing to Nosy Komba during the crossing. A picnic lunch is already prepared.

Night in hotel.

Day 8

Nosy Tanikely - Nosy Be

After a good breakfast on the terrace restaurant in front of the sea, we will take the boat to Nosy be direction. Sometimes we meet the big pelagic fish.

Check in to Grand Blue hotel.

Day 9

Nosy be – Nosy Sakatia - Nosy be

Departure by 4wd to Nosy Sakatia; stop on a pretty beach not far from the village with a good restaurant. Back to Nosy be on the end of the evening.

Day 10 - 11 - 12

Nosy Be

To forget the rythm of the trip, the heat, the humidity, you have 3 days to relax, to rest at the edge of the beach and to taking sun ... Possible to make an excursion on foot as visit of "mont passot", the lakes, sacred trees and the village of Dzamandzar ...

Day 13

Nosy be – Antananarivo

Transfer to nosy be airport then flight to Antananarivo; visit of the city like queen palace, ZOMA market and railway station ...

Transfert at the international airport for flight.
